Deborah,

I totally agree on the price and distribution point. I do think that Blurb has the capacity to deliver high quality books though and that is fairly important, even with its weak points!

I just tested out Blurb for both a photo book and a novel on Friday. While I was impressed with their software, I was disappointed by their prices. Then there is the lack of an online distribution service, which Lulu has. As it stands now, Lulu is the better choice if you're going to publish and market a book.

That said, I still plan to watch Blurb to see how it evolves. It has great potential.
