I am just finding out about these publishing sites particularly Amazon but I would like to see examples of the books and how they actually look. Are they well made with good visuals or mediocre quality such as light weight of paper and poor printing of type and/or pictures.

Do you know where samples can be viewed? I could find none on amazon.

If writers are smart they will stay away from this so, so deal amazon is offering. This will lower the numbers for amazon and that will force them to lower the price in order to compete in this segment of the market.

Hi Eoin,

I’ve been following some of this discussion and I have to agree I find the examples a tad on the deceptive side. Sure it looks good for some types of books, but not such a great deal for most long fiction. It will be interesting to see how this develops.
